Our children’s ministry supports parents by providing additional opportunities to learn about Jesus outside the home. We believe the Gospel should be taught and modeled in the home (Deuteronomy 6:6-7) and reinforced at church. This way, children see that the Word of God is meaningful to their parents lives, “catch” it for themselves, and grow to be life-long committed followers of Jesus Christ.
We support parents in their desire to teach their children about God in three areas. Our Sunday morning Bible studies are led by teachers with a love for God and his children. Solid biblical truths are taught in these sessions in an interactive, fun classroom setting. Younger children have opportunity to explore the Bible further in Children’s Church, held during a portion of our worship services. Our Wednesday night program emphasizes missions. In this time, children begin to learn about showing the love of God to others, and about various missionaries and their work. In addition, children conduct their own mission projects throughout the year so they might put into practice the things they learn. And then, children take part in various fellowships and activities. These include Vacation Bible School, camps, and other outings.
